  • A personal laptop is compulsory for all tauira. We’ve chosen the Apple MacBook as our preferred learning device. It supports high-quality learning across all areas—from researching whakapapa and creating digital art to coding in te reo Māori and collaborating on group projects alongside the delivery of basic computing programmes and skills.

The MacBook is reliable, secure, and works seamlessly with our learning systems, allowing tauira to stay connected and focused. It also encourages creativity and critical thinking—skills our tauira need to walk confidently in both te ao Māori and te ao whānui.

Above all, it supports our kaupapa of excellence, innovation, and mana motuhake in education.
